Going Solo

I've given alot of thought to whether I should continue working on the film with my partner or decide to do it alone. It hasn't exactly been an easy decision, because we've been working together since October. But, with the encouragement of my teacher, I have decided to go solo, part ways, and do the film on my own.
I'll be honest and say I've never been too comfortable working in groups, I just managed to cope. But I've always done better work as the leader. So I know that working alone will be a little easier for me, because I could decide everything on my own and do as I please.
Another reason that really made me decide on this was that my partner and I could not make time for the film. In school, whenever I was free, she wasn't, and vice versa. Therefore, it was nearly impossible to sit down together and make the decisions for the film. If I had the ideas in my head, I could never convey them in detail and then the assignments would never move forward, because we just never had time. Unfortunately, she lived quite far away from where I lived, and had conveyance issues as well.
One more reason was that my partner was too involved in extra-curricular activities and thus, she was, most of the time, not present in class. This way, even my grade was getting affected. My teacher advised me to keep my grades the first priority, and hence, I decided to finally go solo.
